I know this may be a stupid question but I seriously have no idea and I love lemon and lime in my water at all times. Just curious what any of you have been told or heard about this? TIA!!!!
I love limes in my water (yum!) and when I feel sick I suck on limes to settle my stomach lol. Probalem is throwing up afterwards doesnt always feel great.
Yes! The smell of lemon/lime is great to combat m/s. Also there is the little bit of vitamin C that you get each time. If it is appealing to you then go for it. I have substituted mostly lemon-y water over ice for my iced tea. Its really great.
Thanks ladies for the input. What I read on google said there was acid and that made me worry or something like that but I didnt research it alot. Sorry.

The acid can harm your tooth enamel if you eat the lemon or lime straight-up, but is perfectly safe for pregnancy. Some women's teeth are more sensitive in pregnancy so that's where it might be uncomfortable (but not unsafe).

Lemons and limes in your water are fine but make sure you don't drink anything carbonated while pregnant, the carbonation makes the baby too light and they'll float up into your ribs, its really dangerous. I'M TOTALLY SERIOUS. ::cough, cough::

On the lemons and limes, they are only OK if you don't care that the acid in it will cause your baby to have skin that tastes sour.

But it won't harm the baby at all.
So did you think you couldn't have any fruit at all?
I'd be dead, that's pretty much all I want. Limeade, orange juice, oranges...
Lemons and limes are fruits - full of Ascorbic Acid (also known as Vitamin C). Fruits are good.

There was a study done a few years ago that found bacteria on the lemons in most restaurants . . . I haven't had restaurant lemons since.

You can only have limes during the week your ticker says your baby is the size of a lime. That is the ONLY time during pregnancy it is safe.
No. The acid in lemons will melt your baby's face off.
Crap. Maybe that was the Charlie Sheen disease that melts off faces.
Forgive me.
