How long after m/c till first AF

So I had a miscarriage @ 8-9wks. Thankfully it was natural, but it took about 2 wks from start to finish. Any advice on how long it took for AF to show afterwards? I know they've said 4-6 weeks, but is that from the start of spotting, or from when I actually passed the pregnancy?

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am on CD 26 or something but about CD30 if you count the day I started spotting and still no AF. I hope you don't have to wait very long.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mine was 53 days from when I first started bleeding and I bled for 2 weeks, spotted/light flow for another two..... yeah good times. :P It felt like forever but I used cytotec rather than a D & C so my body must've just needed that time to heal. Everyone is different, just try to be gentle with yourself right now, drink lots of water, eat well, rest and get some light exercise. If it doesn't come within 60 days you may want to call your Dr. Good luck! It's a frustrating time, I know.

I had a d&c at 13w dec. 28th and I have yet to have a real period. As of last thursday I still had beta levels at 15 so I'm hoping to expect a period soon. I have had some heavy heavy bleeding that could be a period but it only lasts a day. Hang in there and hopefully you won't have to wait as long as me.

I am very sorry for your loss.

My AF showed up just under 5 weeks....33 days. I counted from the start of the spotting...mine went from brown to red within hours.

I had to have D&C's because my body just wouldn't let go. For the first it took 32 days to come back and for the second it took 21 days. Hope this helps.

For me, AF is worse, b/c once she shows, I KNOW it's over. With a BFN, if AF isn't here yet, I always feel like I have a shot, so it isn't as definitive or final, but I know I'm in the minority on this point.... : ). Good luck!

AF came back 43 after my D&C. If it takes more than 60 days, then you should call your dr.

I had m/c naturally but still had very very small amt of tissue so had D&C, I had AF 2.5 weeks later but it was basicly 4 weeks from natural m/c. Doctor thinks it was AF bcause it was bright red (meaning new blood), not brown (meaning old blood)
