I had my appointment today for my baseline ultrasound for IUI.  After the ultrasound, the doctor wanted to discuss DH's SA results with me.  His morphology was only 2%.  The doctor said that this means that IVF is probably going to be our best option...with IUI we're looking at about at 10% chance each time and on our own, our chances are less than 10% a year.  This is so unfair - we are already dealing with the loss of our child and now there is a chance that we might not be able to even have another.  FML.
Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms.

    I am so sorry...we have severe MFI issues but my DH has low count and low motility too and IUI did not work for us.  I didn't have a loss before we found out about it, our loss was after but some days I do think how unfair it is to have to deal with IF issues and now have a loss too.

    I am very sorry.  I do know some ladies on PAIF who are PG from IUIs when their DHs only issue was morph.  Morph can vary greatly for sample to sample so try to not give up hope.  ((hugs))

    Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
    Our little miracle baby is a boy. :)

    Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

    Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled.  However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15!  Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!

    Surprise!  Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due.  Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

BFP#1 7/25/10 - Missed m/c 8wks - D&E 8/25/10 BFP#2 12/25/10 - Missed m/c 7wks - D&E 1/20/11 (second loss due to abnormal chromosome 7) Genetics testings- Normal. RPL panel results- Normal. Elevated FSH (14). DH b/w normal. SA- Normal. HSG- Left tube possibly blocked. Minor septum removed. My Ovulation Chart ~~ Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success.     (((Hugs))) I am so sorry.  Thoughts and prayers for you.  There are many  couples who have been successful with IVF, so if you choose to do it, I wish you all of the luck in the world.  It might be worth it to even try IUI one or two times.

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    I am so sorry. I wish they weren't so into percentages. Nothing is impossible even if someone makes it seem that way. It will happen. I know it will. I hope that once the news settles you will start to feel better and that you and DH are able to work out a plan. I will be thinking about you! Big hugs.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!

    1st pregnancy: BFP- 6/28/09 - Found out we lost our little girl on 10/9/09 at 19w 4d - D&E- 10/14/09

    June 2010, corrective surgery for Septate Uterus and large fibroids

    2nd pregnancy: BFP- 10/18/10 - Slow rising, non-doubling HCGs, no heart beat. Non-viable pregnancy, D&C- 11/12/10

    Started Metformin 6/30/11, Started Clomid 7/20/11 - Unsuccessful

    HSG and Laparoscopic surgery revealed blocked tubes and lots of scar tissue...IVF here we come!!!

    Surprise BFP naturally!!! IT'S A BOY!!!

    Aw hun - I am sorry.  My DH's morph came back pretty bad the last time too.  We were already pursuing IVF though b/c of me having 3 losses and probable egg quality issues.  I know it is hard to face.  I know I never thought I would. 

    There are ladies on here that are going through the same thing.  And TTTC and IF are great boards as well. 

    I know this is hard to face, but you can have success - there are lots of MFI cases  that do.  (((hugs)))
