I can't find a prenatal massage therapist---so bummed =(

There are salons left and right near me---chiropractors offices--etc----but I can't find anyone who does prenatal massages where you can be face down. I've had them where you lay on your side and it was awful (had it with DS)---wasn't worth it.

I've been to a chiropractor but I really want more muscle work vs adjustments right now----I'm so desperate. I've searched high and low, all the places are in downtown Chicago which is about 60 miles away from me.

Just had to vent. I will say--I'm a licensed massage therapist although I don't practice anymore since I got in to a different career--and it almost makes me WANT to go back in to it, get a specialized table for us preggies and advertise the heck out of it. It's obviously needed, that's for sure.

The only place that I've been to that has the face down table is in Naperville, so that's probably a hike for you!

That sucks. I live in a small city of 85,000 people and there is a spa that has lie down tables with the tummy cut out for pregnany ladies about a 15 minute drive away. You'd think being near Chicago it'd be better than that.
