brown discharge when wiping

So about an hour ago I had a BM and when I wiped there was a little bit of brown on the toilet paper.  I've gone to the bathroom twice since and it's been fine.  I plan on calling my doctor at lunch time, but I wanted to see if anyone else had this happen to them ever.  I'm not overly concerned, but I don't like it.

    I had that a lot earlier on. My doc chalked it up to irritating the cervix when pushing out the bm. It's gross, but harmless!

    Same here, I had some of this in first tri (even red as well) but both my RE and OB said that brown is fine it is old blood and not to be concerned.  Still call because it will make you feel better to hear it from your OB though. :)

    I had something similar in the 2nd trimester.  Brown is old blood, and I was told not to worry.
