What's the first thing you want after you deliver?

DD was born at 4:30 in the morning so I had a BIG breakfast plate waiting for me when I woke up from a short nap. (The nurses were nice enough to order for me) So now, when I think of the immediate time following birth, I picture some big pancackes and sausages!

An ice cold corona with extra lime!! Tonight at the hockey game I kept sniffing DH's beer. He offered me a sip, but I knew it wouldn't satisfy me and would make it worse.

Ha, I'm loving (and hating) this thread!

I've already told DH that if someone asks what they can bring us to eat after we get home with the baby, please tell them a sandwich tray from our favorite local deli!

I would love a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and a huge ice-cold Diet Dr Pepper!

A bagel sandwich from this local place that has smoked turkey, chive cream cheese, cucumber, and tomato NOT heated! I hate heating my cold cuts. I'd like to wash that down with an ice cold corona light with lime or glass of champagne.

I always have delivered in the morning (One at 3 AM , one at 9 am, one at 730 am)...I ALWAYS send someone for an Egg McMuffin. Along with what the Nurse has the aid bring me (usually a sprite and something from the floor stock)
