Thank you for all of your prayers and kind words.  This has been the toughest week of my life so far.  I'm pretty sure that I now hold the record for the worst 30th birthday ever.  I know that our family is going to get through this and that in time it will get easier. 

I appreciate how caring everyone on this board is.

    I read the OP from my i-pod... but I am so sorry for your loss.  She sounded like a very wonderful woman who was loved by so many.

    Have you found anyone to watch Carter?  I thought I remembered you asking about sitters.  I was going to suggest contacting your local elementary schools.  I also think I remember that you needed someone part-time?  There may be a wonderful stay at home mom out there that the school secretary could recommend.  Good luck with your search and keep us updated.
