We plan on giving our daughter her first bottle tomorrow to start the process. She's 3 weeks old...how much BM should I put in the first bottle. I don't have much of a supply yet so I don't want to waste any, but I want to make sure she gets enough.
Any thoughts?

Re: First Bottle- How much BM?
This. my son usually is satisfied with about 4 oz of it.
Camryn Grace ~ July 6th, 2009 ~ 7lbs 9oz, 20.5"
Brayden Richard Drew ~ December 20, 2010~7lbs 9oz, 20"
I would do 3 oz. DS is 3 weeks and will eat anywhere between 2.5-3.5 oz.
You can also start off at 2-2.5oz and just give her a little more if she still seems hungry. That way you do not waste any.
I agree too.
You do not need to offer much more than 2 oz. because BM is more effectively digested than formula therefore your baby doesnt need to have as much BM to stay full as another baby might need of formula.
