at what point has any 1 had to get some maternity clothes? im nearlly 10 weeks and none of my jeans fit and my tops are tight? feel like its too early to have to have maternity stuff?? 5ft 1 and 124lbs feel like im all boobs and belly already.
I went out an bought maternity jeans (which i love much more than regular ones with the bloat). Also went out today and bought a couple new bras because my regular ones are no longer comfortable. I also use my belly band with all my pants.
Last pregnancy, I put it off as long as I could and started wearing it at around 30 weeks. No joke. This time around, I just found a cute and comfy pair of maternity jeans from Motherhood that are way cuter than the jeans I had in my last pregnancy - no wonder I put it off so long. I'm tempted to wear my new maternity jeans this week to class. I'm thinking they'll be comfy on my tummy as it gets more and more bloated lol.
oo whats a belly band?? the thing is we havnt told any1 yet so dnt really want to show until i have some tests done. where did you get the jeans from i havnt seen any cute ones?
If you can still pull your jeans up but just not button them, you could always try a belly band. I had a lot of bloat during my 1st trimester w/ DS and this worked great. I finally had to buy maternity pants toward the end of the 4th month. I would wear whatever you feel comfortable in. And if that means maternity clothes, so be it!
I bought new mat tanks from target and have just been wearing them under my sweaters. I don't have a belly yet (10w) but my boobs were too big to wear my other shirts. I need new jeans but I'm not finding anything that I want...
Basically it's like a big stretchy round thing that you can wear around the top of your regular (unbuttoned) jeans to keep them up and to cover any unbutton-ness. Also, wrapping a rubber band around unbuttoned jean buttons is awesome.
With my first pregnancy I didn't wear maternity clothes until around 20 weeks. Hoping to get that far again this time around. I am currently 10 weeks and still wearing my regular clothes.

I'm so bloated that I bought a BeBand and maternity pants last Thursday, and wearing them make me much happier and comfortable. I found some at Target on the clearance rack for $15! I do want to find a few pairs of jeans soon too as I don't know how much longer the band will work with my jeans if I'm this bloated now!

I'm starting to feel a bit constricted in a few of my clothes so I've been looking for maternity clothes online. Unfortunately, I'm plus sized, so there's not a whole lot of options for me - mostly in the work pants area. I'm going to have to ask my sisters if they would make me some simple skirts with pockets and either an elastic waist or a draw string waist. I can always buy a belly band to help with the baby weight. Unless they figure out how to make me some clothes with the hidden belly panel. (Hidden, what a misnomer).

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is super bloated this early! I feel crazy bloated and all of my work pants are uncomfortable. I am definitely going to have to pull out my beband soon I think, but the thought of some maternity pants seemed pretty appealing.

I'm 5'2 and 124lbs and my size 4 jeans are getting snug due to being sooo bloated. I bought a BeBand today and plan on using it. Although my jeans are always tighter after I wash them.

I'm 5'2" and 118 lbs and size 5. Shows you where I carry my weight! So I can't imagine things being comfy for long. I was eyeballing the BeBands in Target the other day, too. They were $16 each. I might hold out on that if I can.
I started wearing bellabands right away with my first pregnancy b/c too tight pants made me sick. I switched over to maternity clothes around 13 weeks when I popped.
With this pregnancy (now knowing the awesome comfort of maternity jeans), I borrowed some small maternity jeans from a friend & I am wearing them off and on already - they are so comfy! (I'm a SAHM now, & loving not having to dress up for work! Pregnancy & heels is so wrong.)
I think target is now selling bella bands - they are a great way to keep things secret.
I don't know where people live but I got my bella band at a consignment store for $8. I'm not ready for maternity clothes yet but my pants are too snug. They had lots of maternity clothes for great prices, it's worth seeing if you have one in your area.
I am hoping not to wear any maternity clothes until it's warm outside.. which won't be till may and i'll be...about 18 weeks.. I hope I can make it that long... the thing I am worried about is my bathing suit.. we are at the pool everyday and I want to feel like I look somewhat good..:( Any ideas on places to get good ones??

You can get maternity jeans that don't look like maternity jeans, so that if they happen to ride up, you don't have to do much explaining: https://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=96893Z20050&MasterCategory_Id=MC6
As for the belly bands, there are all kinds of different brands. Target has the BeBand: https://www.target.com/BeBand-Maternity-Band-Ebony/dp/B001DDRYCU/ref=sc_qi_detaillink
