Cloth Diapering

trick to Diaper Swappers?

Maybe I have just gotten too used to using Spots, but I really find Diaper Swappers to be annoying. I think I must be a visual learner because I REALLY like to see pictures before I go on to read more about a diaper.

Is there some trick to make the posts show pictures before I have to click on them? (kinda like the easy button for craig's list.)

Thanks!

  • No.

Take it or leave it. I like that there are many listings, and it's searchable. Also that when I do want to sell, the listings are free.

  • Thanks! I do like the search option. And it is good to know when I am ready to sell that it is free to post.

I just didn't want to do all that work if there was an easy button I just didn't know about! Angel

  • one nice thing is it is broken up by categories, so if all you want is covers or fitteds you can easily browse only that category.  also you can hover over the subject line and see prices oftentimes before opening.

  • I'm piggybacking on this post... but what does it mean when it says "bump" in the comments on there?

Threads are sorted by the time of the last post/reply. So as time goes on, a post gets pushed further and further down the board. Since people aren't generally going to browse through pages and pages of listings, a post that's far down won't be very visible.

To address this, a poster might post a reply to her thread. That makes the thread "bump" to the top of the listings. Most posters will just post "bump" in the reply, since they're not actually trying to add any content to the post, just bump it up.
