The poor thing can't catch a break! From 1-3 months she was having issues that we ultimately found out was a milk protein allergy. I've cut out all traces of dairy and read labels on everything now, so she's okay there. We did have a couple of horrible vomit/bile issues in the past two weeks, but there will be no more of that!
She's been eating sooo frequently for the past 10 days or so. Before she was sleeping for 12 hours at night, now she's waking up about 3-4 times/night and eating every 1.5-3 hours during the day.
It was obvious to me that my supply has been total sh!t lately, but I felt so bad when I took her to the pedi for being sick yesterday and she'd lost 14 oz. in 13 days
She's now 25.5 inches and 11 lb. 14 oz. Pedi didn't bring it up; honestly idk if he even noticed, and I was happy to hear that she was fine ("just" a virus), so when he quickly checked her, said she was ok, and left, I wasn't thinking to bring it up!
I feel so bad! She's sick, she lost weight, I'm having some sort of issue going on with my ovaries and I think I have a UTI now too....I'm pumping about 1 oz. in 30 minutes...ugh. Tell me it'll get better!
Don't worry- I will not let my child be hungry. We had an emergency can of Nutramigen so after feeding her on both sides last night and she took an extra 3.5 ounces! I did the same earlier today when she didn't seem to fill up from nursing.
Re: She lost almost a pound...
My LO is doing the same thing-- she used to sleep 7-7 and now she is eating at 7, 11, 3 and 6. I'm thinking it's the 4 month wakeful coming early. She also has a stuffy nose so it could be that, too.

Yeah...I'm having my doubts about him. I love that his office phone goes directly to his cell after hours and he will see her on weekends/after hours, but this bothered me. I think I'll start looking....
That's what I was wondering, too. I know that my supply has a lot to do with it, because she's hungry...but WIDE awake in the middle of the night too!
Thanks a lot for the tips! I just sat there and pumped while I watched t.v. last night, back and forth between sides, hoping to help. I have not tried fenugreek or anything else...just drinking water, nursing frequently, and pumping. I'll definitely use your advice.
How long would you wait in between pumping sessions? morning, afternoon, & night? Or would waiting an hour work if I wanted to do two sessions at night?
Thanks everyone for your feedback. It's been a stressful couple of days and my Fi won't be home til tomorrow. Sorry it took me a while to respond; my laptop shut itself down and wouldn't turn back on
