BF DD for 14 months though I started giving a supplement at 6 months due to a low supply-wish I had more support then, i'd have never supplemented and I am sad a little that i did/
Am currently EBF DS age 5 months 3 weeks, and hope to continue until wean w/o supplementing!
Connor is almost 16 months and still going at it. He is down to 2 times a day. I'm ready to wean those out but he is very persistant. I think 18 months is my limit though. Good luck to all of you starting out and great job to all of you who have given it a try.

I have been BFing for a little over 7 weeks now & plan to continue until at least 12 months if possible. I'm not sure when exactly I'll add solids to the mix, but I plan to add BM to cereal etc.
We've been BF for a month. I pump as well so we switch between breast and bottle. I'd like to BF at least through August when DS is 11 mo (I teach so it would be easier to wean before school starts again).
We've been breastfeeding for almost 10 months and plan to go until 18 months or until he self weans. ?I'm so excited that we're almost at the year mark - what an accomplishment that will be!
i have been bf for four mos, we had a tough go of it at first, but i am so glad i stuck with it. we had alot of great support! we are going to continue until it doesn't work for us anymore. so glad they started this board!
I BFed #1 for just over 13 mos, an accomplishment I'm very proud of considering I went back to work when she was 12 weeks old and she never had a drop of formula.
I'd love to do the same with #2 but my job is a little more demanding this time so we'll see. I'm building a freezer stash now (something I didn't do the first time) so that I can stretch out the breast milk a little longer if I can't keep up pumping at work.
Right now I have realistic, shorter term goals. I'm shooting for six months and will set another goal (maybe 9 mos?) if I make it that far.
I've been BFing for 2.5 months, though we do supplement with formula 1 time a day due to many issues we still have. But I am hopeful that she will be EBF by 4 months, and I would like to BF until she weans or until 2 years, whichever comes first.
So glad they made a board for this! I think it can be one of the biggest challenges a new mom faces.

I plan on BF till at least 1 year, if I make it that long. If we are still going then I will wean DS off of it and hopefully my boobs will get smaller.

DD has been BFing for almost 7 months. I would like to make it to 1 year but my freezer supply is down to 17 8oz bags and I only pump 5 oz at work...DD eats 8 oz. I figure I will make it to 10 months before I have to supplement the additional 3 oz with formula
DD is almost 6 months old, and has been EBF this whole time. I plan to BF DD until she is at least 12 months old, and anything longer than that is a bonus.
I BF'd DS till he was 19 months, yes 19 months. i am planning on BFing DD till at least 18 months. (usually by that age its only about 3 times a day at most).
I am still BFing 8.5 mths now and things are going well! I plan to continue until he stops or he is 2, whichever comes first. I am getting rid of the pump though at a year!
Our kids are 19mths apart and we LOVE it!!

Sort of a 'graduate board' like in the book "Milk Memos".
Good idea MadHatter!
DD is almost 11 mos and we have no desire to wean anytime soon. I have been pumping at work since she was 8 weeks and she's never had formula. I feel very blessed!
DS was BF for 6 months. I was so sad about weaning. I had planned to go to at least 18 months, but we had to wean to Neocate b/c we could not get control of food allergy/intolerance issues.
I've been breastfeeding for 7.5 months. ?I would like to make it to 1 year but I don't know that my supply will cooperate. ?It seems to be dropping lately and I am finding it harder and harder to find the time to pump while I am at work.
I breastfeed my dd for a year. My supply dropped with working/pumping especially around 9 months but we made it to the 1 year mark (and you can too!). We had to supplement some along the way but I always felt that giving her whatever I could was a boost to her health. Breastfeeding was a great experience for both of us.
