4 days of happy faces...

Yesterday I wrote a post about having 3 days of happy faces and asking if this was normal. Well now I'm on day 4 and my husband is not home for the night. My question is if you typically ovulate 12-36 hours after 1st smiley face or have I still not ovulated and its 12-36 hours after I don't receive a positive? I know everyone is different and no I'm not tempting. Wayyyy too hard with a teething child. : ) just looking for opinionsI guess.Thanks for any help ladies! : ) I'm hoping I don't miss my window...

    Sorry, I don't use the digitals and I've only ever gotten 1 day of positives with the ICs.  I've read that (with the ICs any way) you typically O 12-36 hours after the FIRST positive.  I would that think one of two things could be going on...1-you have a long surge or 2-you're body has been gearing up to O and it just hasn't gotten that far yet.  I don't temp either so in addition to OPKs I also rely on CM.  Have you been observing yours in order to notice any changes?

    Rhody -- thanks for the info!  I got my first +opk with IC today, and was kinda wondering the same thing!  I noticed my CM turned EWCM early this month, so I started testing early.

    Your LH surge can vary from cycle to cycle.  Some cycles it can be short, and others it can drag itself out (which is probably why you're getting multiple days of positive OPKs).  Sorry to say, but there is no "typical" time to ovulate after the first positive (or smiley face, your case).  Just keep having sex until you are no longer getting positives.
