who's 35+weeks?

How are you doing?

Do you have anything big left to finish?

Have you packed your bags?

Can you believe we're here?!?!

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations?

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! How are you doing? I'm doing ok.  I wish I didn't have to finish the pregnancy on bed rest, but it's what's best!

Do you have anything big left to finish? yes, I have one wedding left to edit but my dr pretty much said I needed to stop working, even if just from home!! eeek.

Have you packed your bags?  started bob's, haven't done mine! Now I will need dh to pack mine for me I guess!

Can you believe we're here?!?! No I can't, honestly! It's gone so fast!

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations? I would have guessed late, but now with the pre-e I'll be going early.  At least a week if not more.

  • I'm doing OK.  Just very uncomfortable.  It sort of hit me this last week that I'm Pregnant!  Before that I'd forget part of the time.  But I've gotten so big and uncomfortable that you just can't miss me and this bowling ball.

Nothing big, just a couple odds and ends.

Bags are packed except for things I'm still using but I have a list on top so I don't forget anything.

No, I can't believe we are here.   I never thought I'd see my ticker this far along.

I think I'll be late.  And I'm not really a fan of induction "just because" so I guess I'm going to have to ride this out.

    xoxo

  • I think you know most of my answers, but I'm bored!  :)

How are you doing?  Ok.  Just waiting and living appt to appt...

Do you have anything big left to finish?  We just have to have the carseat inspected, but the hospital said they will do it for us before we leave.

Have you packed your bags?   Yup!

Can you believe we're here?!?!  NO!  Every few hours or so the magnitude hits me and I just can't believe it.

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations?  Definitely by 39 weeks, but I'm thinking (hoping) by next Monday.

  • I'm doing well just beginning to slow down a bit! I am finishing up the nursery, wash and sanitizing. I packed the diaper bag/baby's bag but will do my bag hopefully tomorrow!?

?I can't believe how fast it's gone! I am definitely going to miss being pregnant. I am ready to have him in person but LOVED having him inside and feeling his kicks. It makes me cry thinking I won't have that in a few weeks. Is that weird?!

I think I'll go late but my DH thinks early. I am beginning to get more and more BH but of course that could mean nothing. I guess we'll see at my 38 week appointment!?

  • Me!  I am feeling pretty good but getting a little sad that it is almost over.  As much as I want him here, I feel like this pregnancy went so fast and I think I am going to miss it when it's over.  It is like he and I have a secret and once he is here everyone else will be in on it too.  I am still amazed when I watch him move, I dont think it could ever get old (except when it hurts!).  As hard as this pregnancy and everything along with it has been, I am so grateful for the experience and I know that it is a miracle.

We dont really have anything big left (that I can think of).  I have to wash my CDs but we will probably use sposies for a few days/weeks anyway.

I repacked my bags this morning but I keep thinking of things that I should add - like a burp cloth in case he spits up on the ride home.

I think I will go soon, maybe even within the next couple of days.  Since my cervix is changing and I'm 4cm now I could be on my way!  I was kind of hoping that he would come on Nov 24 since that is my DH and FIL's bdays but after everything I've been through over the last month I am ready for him to come now.

    I can't believe we're here.  I honestly can't.

  • I am doing good!  I am actually ready for Nicholas to get here. I feel like I just keep putzing around the house wanting to do something related to the baby, but I have done everything. I am packed for Nicholas and myself, the nursery is complete, and the clothes are washed, folded and put away.   I wish I could think of more things to get complete besides finshing up a paper for school and tieing up some loose ends at work.

I feel like I have waited for so long to get to where I am right now and while I thought it would never happen at times, now my little boy is actually going to be hrere soon.  I think I wil miss being PG only because I am not sure if I will ever being doing this again and that makes me sad.  I am so excited to meet Nicholas, but as soon as he is born that means he has to start growing up and I can't fathom that.

I think I will go early since he appears to be bigger than the average baby.  However, I have not had any contractions, not even BH, and he has not dropped at all.  The doc is going to check on Monday to see if I have started dialating.

  • How are you doing?  Good!  Freaked out about possible C and various other issues - but otherwise I'm fine.

Do you have anything big left to finish?  Yes!!  Nursery is not done .. clothes are not all washed .. house is messy .. carseat isn't installed .. it took me two years to get pregnant and i've had 9 months to get ready - and i'm nowhere NEAR ready.  whoops.  i think i really wasn't sure this was ever real!!  seriously.  and now we're so behind.

Have you packed your bags?  Nope!

Can you believe we're here?!?!  No.  I really can't.  I'll believe I'm having a baby when he is placed in my arms.  Seriously.  And not a minute before.

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations?  Early!!  :-)

    Wheee!

  • I'm just over 38 weeks and oftentimes pretty uncomfortable.

I don't have anything big left to do, everything is done, except for getting the carseat in properly!

Bags are packed and ready, except for the things I use daily.

NO! I can't believe that I am so close to being a mommy!!!

Been having a few contractions today, nothing regular. I'm as big as a house now, so I feel like it's going to be any day....hoping at least!

  • I'm not quite 35 weeks, but I'm close enough!

Overall, I'm doing well. Because of high bp for most of my pregnancy, I'm being monitored closely. In fact, I had another growth scan and NST today. Reagan looks great!

The only major thing left to do is install the car seats. I also have substitute plans to create because I am a teacher.

We packed Reagan's diaper bag this past weekend. I went shopping for nightgowns for the hospital, nursing bras, etc. Now we just have to put everything together in a bag.

My doctor said that depending on my bp and my cervix, she may induce as early as 38 w!

I don't think I'll actually believe I've "made it" until I'm holding my baby girl in my arms...

  • How are you doing?  PG wise I'm fine, but I have an upper resp infection and feel very sick

Do you have anything big left to finish? nope

Have you packed your bags?  sort of

Can you believe we're here?!?!  it flew by!!

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations? My OB wont let me go late - baby is measuring 40w as of yesterday and I had a very tough delivery with #1, even though i was induced on EDD.
  • How are you doing? I'm doing alright, really uncomfortable and not sleeping well at all. Ready to be done....

Do you have anything big left to finish? Just need to pick up the bassinett from a friend and get it set up. Everything else is set and ready to go :-)

Have you packed your bags?  I had 'em packed at 34 weeks at DH's insistance. He was super worried I'd go early. Oh, how wrong he was....

Can you believe we're here?!?! It really hit me today as I was wrapping things up at work to begin my maternity leave. Can't believe how quickly 40 weeks snuck up on me!!

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations? I'm guessing I'm going to go late. My OB won't let me go past 41 weeks, so that's just 10 days away, not too bad. But I really don't feel like anything's happening right now to make me think labor is right around the corner./

  • Hi girls!

I have checked out of our 'club' but still thinking of all of you and can't wait to meet your little ones!

  • How are you doing? I'm 37 weeks and pretty uncomfortable.  The baby has dropped and his head is down low in my pelvis which makes walking, sleeping, sitting uncomfortable.  My acid reflux is killing me too and I'm not sleeping.  I'm getting anxious for his arrival though and just can't wait to meet him.

Do you have anything big left to finish?  Nope, the nursery is done, clothes washed and put away, and the car seat is installed.  DH on the other hand needs to finish up our bathroom remodel and is making a sign for Liam with his name on it.  He's the procrastinator.

Have you packed your bags?  Yes, my stuff and the baby's stuff is packed.  I haven't packed a bag for DH though.  I figured he can throw a few things together when we're going to the hospital.  I still need to pack the diaper bag.

Can you believe we're here?!?!  No, this pregnancy has flown by.  I just think back to last year at this time I was on Clomid getting BFNs and in tears and here I am now ready to be a mommy.

Do you think you'll go early/late? Any inclinations?  My doctor said I will probably go early due to a previous septum.  Family/friends are all saying I'll go early as well because of the way I'm carrying.  I'm hoping he comes early because I'm ready to be done.  We'll see what the baby decides.
