DS just got measured for a helmet yesterday at Cranial Tech. He will get fitted for it in 2 weeks.
I'd like to decorate the helmet a little bit, but I'm not real crafty so it will probably just be basic with some paint and his name. Any rec's on paint or stickers or something to put on it that won't "hurt" the helmet and won't come off when we clean it?
Also, I'm a little nervous taking him out in public with it because I already get a bunch of stupid questions (yesterday I got, "Are they paternal?") and comments and I'm guessing it will only get worse with the helmet. What kinds of questions do you get asked, and what is your answer?
Any other tips or words of encouragement?
Re: Moms of kids with helmets (repost from Multiples)
I would NOT use a spray sealer, there is no way to prevent the sealer from getting inside the helmet. I would use MOD Podge as recommend by cranial tech.
