EWCM after ovulation

Sorry to be a bit of a PW today, but quick question.

I didnt temp this month, only used OPKs, so I am well aware that my estimate of when I ovulated could be off. But, according to the OPKs and when I experienced O pain, I believe I am 8 DPO. I have been experiencing EWCM for the past 2 days.

Is it common for any of you to have this after O?

I had a patch last cycle after O, but it was the day after we had sex, so I think it was more him than me. Sorry I'm not much help!

Some cervical fluid after ovulation is posible because the corpus luteum, though its main function is to produce progesterone, produces estrogen in small amounts. This may cause you to see some fertile-looking cervical fluid, even after ovulation.

If your temperatures and other signs show clearly that you have already ovulated, then you can be confident that you are no longer fertile. It is also not uncommon to confuse semen and eggwhite or watery cervical fluid. Some women also notice some fertile-looking cervical fluid just before menstruation.

I have used FF in the past, but DH and I just started TTC again this month and I was a bad bumpie and didnt chart Embarrassed

I only have myself to blame for this uncertainity!

I dont chart my CM because to me it is really confusing and it all looks the same to me!. After O (which I confirmed with opk's and temping) last month I still had quite a bit of CM. So I mainly just stick to opk's and temping! sorry I know I am not much help!
