Do any of you all use the reusable momma pads, the menstrual pads that you can wash/reuse? I was totally against them - but now I'm thinking, maybe it would help me be more comfortable and better for my skin, too.
Anyone use them? If so, what brand did you get, how do they work, and what do you do with the dirties (this is the part I have trouble with!).
Re: Not exactly CD related: Mama pads?
I like naturallyhip on etsy. I've tried a few different brands and like these the best
ETA: SO much better than disposables, I stored them in a wetbag. Before having a baby I washed by hand, but with PP flow I just threw them in with the diapers. rockin green works wonders on the stains
I use them and I LOVE them! Cloth pads are SO much more comfortable and breathable than disposable ones. I hated pads until I switched to cloth.
I keep them in a wetbag under my bathroom sink and then I soak them overnight and throw them in with the regular laundry. I found (for the kind I have), that the aplix on DD's diapers could snag them so I don't put them in with the diapers for that reason.
I use Pink Daisy pads (they're by Swaddlebees/Blueberry). I have the stay dry kind. I also have a liner by PIMP (Party in My Pants) which I really love. I need to get more PIMP ones and I'm looking at buying some that are OBV-topped.
ETA: You should definitely get some port partum pads. I wish I had them with DD and I will definitely be using them next time.

I'm a cloth pad mama myself and of all the ones I've tried, Homestead Emporium gets my vote. https://www.homesteademporium.com/
I started using them post-partum with my DS (I use a moon cup most often and needed another alternative post-baby) and I've loved them ever since. She has varying sizes and you can also have her do a custom order if you need one.
Tried and hated some flannel ones several years ago. Then I bought my Diva Cup and didn't end up needing any at all for a long, long time.
Now I am sad, but not willing to try cloth again. It was just too terrible an experience of feeling like I had a very icky cloth tied to my crotch... which I kind of did.

I am wanting to try the Diva Cup when my cycle comes back also.

I used (pg now) a Diva Cup for the past couple of cycles and LOVED it! Similar to tampon (can't feel it) only it can go 12 hours without being emptied... another choice in the "eco-period" situation.
I personally don't like the feeling of pads after I had DS, I think it has to do with scarring from the tears. This is why I liked Diva Cup in this arena... very comfortable!
