Just found out - BF is pregnant too!

One of my best friends just called to tell me she is 6 weeks pregnant!!!! I am SO excited! I wonder if this is just going to start the wave of pregnancies in my circle of friends.

Finally someone IRL that will be able to relate and hang out with doing more pregnant-friendly things.

I feel like crying I am so happy for her and her husband. Party!!!

This is so fun! One of my best friend's is pregnant right now too, but she lives in another state. It is still nice to have someone to talk to about everything.

Same here:) My best friend just found out she was pregnant last week! Her last period was the same day as me so we may be due around the same day. She is used to not having a period every month which is why she never thought she was pregnant. It's exciting.

that is very exciting!

all of my girlfriends that are pregnant are months ahead of me, except for my best friend who happens to only be 2 weeks ahead of me haha. it's very fun!

I can finally understand how great it is to be able to share this with a best friend IRL!

I have been feeling so left out with my friends (this friend is the one I confronted last week) so this takes me straight to sitting on cloud 9. I want to run out and get her tons of cute baby stuff! It's funny, with my own I am all "must wait til 2nd trimester to buy anything, well except the crib yesterday" but here I am already thinking about how we can celebrate and what I can get her. lol

My best friend is due in April. When I told her I was pregnant she (literally) tackeled me into a snow bank and burst into tears. It was pretty cute.

haha it actually IS one of the BBQ friends. We talked everything out later last week and she apologized for being so distant and not making an effort to see me and taking interest in all of the changes I have been going through. It meant a lot that she admitted to all of that and it made me feel A LOT less crazy and much more appreciated.

When she just called me she couldn't stop saying how happy she is that we get to do this together, I think perhaps she was a bit envious that I was pregnant and she and her DH were trying too. But now she is super happy for both of us.

Yay, how nice! I found out my cousin's GF is pregnant but she's in Vegas. I also have another cousin who's expecting but he and his wife are in Ohio. So there is an influx of pregnancies in my family, just that we are all over the US and we are spending our times alone

That is so awesome! My good friend (lives in another state, though) and I were pg with our firsts at the same time. I would follow her blog and it was so great to be able to "relate" and to know that what you were experiencing was normal.

You two should plan on having a spa day together this summer!!!

I wish one of my close friends were pregnant, too. A lot of my friends already have kids (and have for a while). Others seem to be nowhere near getting married and having babies. It would be nice to have someone to talk to this about (in addition to you great ladies on the Sept 2011 board).

I feel exactly the same as this. I just moved to this city about 6 months ago when we got married. My husband is in the military and is posted here. I have not met hardly any friends here, let alone ones that would be pregnant. There are a lot of military gfs who are just out drinking and partying all the time - and can't relate to a married, settled down, pregnant girl lol! Bahumbug!! At least I have the boards!
