Breast Feeding question

When someone says that they EBF for a year, does that mean the baby only had breastmilk for an entire year? Or was solid food introduced at some point? This confuses me so much. So many people say they EBF for x amount of time and I'm curious what exactly this means.

I take it as they never gave their LO formula. Most people introduce some sort of solids around 6 months.

This. I say I EBF DD for 13 months because she never had any formula, but she did start baby food at 6 months and table food at 9 months.

I always assumed it meant no formula, but *technically* EBF ends as soon as you introduce solids. I always say that DS was BF for 19 months, though he certainly had other foods and milk (though never formula).
