H's grandfather is a little delusional in that he always gets special treatment. You know, beautiful women are always coming up and hitting on him, he has tables at certian restaraunts that are specifically reserved for him, he gets special parking at football games because the garage owners know him (couldn't possibly be the handicap sticker that gets him closer parking), the craziness goes on. Unfortunately and fortunately his grandparents are watching Ellie on days that we both work. His grandma is great but I should have known he'd be a douche.
Ellie just started smiling in the last week, doesn't reach for toys yet, she basically just stares at stuff and you get a smile now and then.
When I went to pick her up yesterday from my first day at work he tried to tell me that she was sitting on his lap and kept reaching for the toy he was holding and was laughing her head off all day.
I was like "Wow thanks for teaching her all that, she never does that for us."
Re: I should have known
My MIL is like that. However, I think she is full of shiit most of the time. I just grin and nod my head. I cringe just thinking about it.
my babysitter (close family friend) and I have an agreement, if I didn't say it happened, then it didn't happen. Even if she says a full sentence at 2 months, I don't want to hear about it if it didn't happen with me!
Exactly! Grandma and I have that agreement and I just choose to believe everything he says is a lie.
I love your agreement.....I am totally going to use it since our LO will be switching between both her grandma's while we are working. I just hope they stick to it.
