Anyone else getting Rib kicks yet??

So...apparently our little one is going to be a little soccer player or something...We skipped right over the cutsie fluttery movements to full on belly moves, light kicks. Tonight for the first time, my dog was laying on my belly and I felt this HUGE movement across my right upper quandrant (had to be head or butt) and JAM right in my right lung or rib cage...sharp pain but I loved every second of it! lol

didn't know if anyone else had any crazy movers out there!

Got my first one this weekend. It was only once, but now I'm sure it's gonna start more often. Exciting to be able to tell LO is getting so big!

Not hitting my ribs yet, but he's kicking HARD. DH was talking to his mom last night, and apparently DH was a little kickboxer right from the start as well.

You can definitely see when he kicks, and 99% of the time, it's very obvious where the kick landed, so it's not like it's my entire stomach moving like some of my friends had.

I haven't gotten one directly to the ribs yet, but today I had a bunch of big hard kicks about an inch or two below my ribs. I definitely thought about the rib kicks that i've heard about from other moms, though! I'm sure it'll happen soon...not looking forward to it hurting, but love the big kicks.

Yes! Hitting the ribs now and hard! I'm also getting the kicks that hit my left hip and the upper right area right under my boob at the same time...and I thought he was going to be a calm baby in the belly, boy was I wrong!

Not yet. It makes me giggle now everytime LO kicks and I was just telling DH earlier that I'm sure when the rib kicking starts I won't be giggling much anymore.

Yes! He was kicking me hard right in the ribs on my right side over and over again during church on Sunday. Very uncomfortable. H asked why I was making funny faces then made fun of me the rest of the afternoon-lol.

All of my LO's movement is very low still. I'm hoping he/she is higher when we go to PA next month b/c anyone wanting to try to feel the baby right now (not that I've even been able to from the outside yet) wouldn't be able to without violating me Confused

I've had only one kick to the ribs but he does like to lodge himself right under my ribs on the right. And tonight it's been kicks to my colon and bladder mostly.

So funny you posted this. Today was the first day I felt him kick my ribs and then this evening he's been up in that area, flipping around and such. Such a weird feeling.

when I saw your title I was thinking to myself OH NO, this is all my mum kept telling me as I was growing up. "when you were a baby you always shoved your foot under my ribs and dug in!" I am so hoping my lo doesnt do this to me as a way of karma!

Have been getting serious thumps today my dh got to feel a whole bunch this afternoon and said wow I bet that feels weird to you, it does but its fun. He has defiantly been kicking in all different locations not his usual lower left like all the times before and has been getting higher so really hoping he will avoid the ribs.

If people want to feel my kicks, I would feel violated as well. So far baby is still cozy in the lower region : ).
