5 weeks pregnant with Subchorionic Hemorrhage...

Hi Ladies, I am currently 5 weeks pregnant with our second child.  I was diagnosed with a Subchorionic Hemorrhage on Friday which I was told was "average" size.  This AM I had some bright red bleeding with a clot.  It wasn't a lot of blood but enough to scare me.  I was evaluated and so far, yolk sac, fetal pole look ok.  Did/do any of you have this and how much bleeding did you have.  Did it lessen over time?  TIA!

    I had one with DD.  I had a lot of bleeding, enough to soak a couple of pads over all the days it occurred.  The worst was over a weekend, but I had spotting (heavy at times) off and on the first tri.

    Hang in there!  It doesn't necessarily mean a bad outcome, just a lot of worry.

    I had one at 8 weeks. It went away pretty quickly and fast forward 22 weeks and she's an active healthy baby. I was put on pelvic rest and everything is fine. I even moved across the country at 13 weeks. I hope you have the same great outcome. Good luck.

    I had at least one with each of my three pregnancies. It's definitely scary. No one wants to see blood when they are pregnant! I never had enough blood to soak a pad - mostly just TP blood. It definitely tapered off over time but I did have bleeding until I was in my second trimester. Good luck!

    I had one around 9 weeks and went to the ER to get checked out.  Baby was just fine and I haven't had any other problems since.  Didn't have a lot of bleeding and it stopped after a day or so.  It did scare me quite a bit though!

    I had one at about 5 weeks pg.  I only had a little bleeding, like a few tp wipes worth and never again.  I now have a very active baby girl kicking and punching my insides:)

    had a small one with my first daughter.  she is now almost 2.5 years old. it resolved itself by 10 weeks.  I had a smaller one with this pregnancy and would say it was absorbed by 13 ish weeks.  Good luck!

    I was just diagnosed with this through an emergency room exam.  Im about 5.5 weeks along.  Did you have cramping with it?  I have had some major cramping but no bleeding (yet).  The er said this could be the cause of the pain.  Is this a normal symptom?
