  • right around 17-18 weeks.  The first couple times it was just a little thump and didn't happen again until the next day, so it was hard to know for sure!
  • Around 19-20 weeks.
  • I think I felt him every once in a while at 22 weeks.  Around 26 weeks I was feeling him semi often.  30 weeks I felt him regularly.  I didn't feel him as often or as hard as other people though.

  • I just started feeling regular movement in the past few days (I'm 19 weeks).  It's still very light and I only feel kicks every few days.  For the most part it is twinges and what feels like bubbling.  I have an anterior placenta so I probably won't feel consistant strong movement for awhile.

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! • At 16w0d... We were on a plane flying down to see my family for the holidays.  He reacted in a BIG way to the take-off and landing.  They were unmistakable!  It was like he was doing flips.  I felt small kicks from then on, and DH was able to feel them within a week!  Oh, and you could see them on the outside (through my clothes) by 18 weeks.  Yup, I've got a crazy kicker...still is!
  • 17 or 18 weeks I realized what it was.  At first, for me, it felt like a muscle twitch in my belly...and finally I realized it was the same place all the time and happening more and more regularly.  Then later it turned to thumps and stretches.  :-)

PS-Your belly pic is so stinkin' cute!
