Update from my what should I do post yesterday

First I want to thank everyone who wrote to me and helped me through yesterday. I ended up calling my dr. but he was out and I was told that the dr. on call would call me. I didn't hear back anything until this morning, apparently the dr. on call misdialed my number. Anyway, I had an appointment with my regular dr. anyway today, so I just waited to see him. He said I probably was throwing up blood because I've been getting so sick I just made my esophogus raw, so he put me on an antacid and said I should be feeling better in about a week.

 We also got to hear the heart beat today for the first time, so incredible! It was funny though cuz I'm laying there listening to the heart beat and I'm thinking, that's my heart beating. I'm not really pregnant, this is all jut a cruel joke. Despite being sick and tired, having an ultrasound and hearing the heart beat, I still don't really believe I've got another person inside of me... It's amazing to think that at my next appointment I'll be 18 weeks and just about half way done with being pregnant. Seems like the time is flying by!

Anyway, thank you again everyone! It's so great to come on here and to be understood!!!!!

    oh, man, i was praying for you. i was very worried about you vomiting blood. i am glad you're healthy and so is le bebe!

     

    im also in disbelief that there is a person inside of me. even seeing it do gymnastics on the screen a few weeks ago didnt convince me, lol.

    Glad to hear things went ok and you heard that amazing whoosh whoosh! I am still in denial about pregnancy despite hearing the heart beat, an ultrasound with a real looking baby, and now the beginning of a bump. I am in for a rude awakening if this doesn't sink in soon! Smile
