Dumb question...30 day shred

I just ordered the 30 Day Shred from Amazon and am so excited to get started. Just thinking though - do i need anything else besides weights?  Thanks!

  • Nope - unless you want a mat for extra cushion if you are working out on a hard floor.

    Yay!!  I'm excited to hear about another shredder.  It's tough but the results are so worth it!

  • I bought mine a few weeks ago & haven't used it yet. I just can't find the energy to do it at night after my DS goes to sleep & in the morning he never wakes up at the same time which makes getting things done hard.

    Any tips on getting in a good workout?

    Are you a SAHM?  If so, I would do it during his first nap.  If his naps aren't very long, find a time where he is the happiest and put him in a bouncer/jumper/swing or something near you while you work out.  My LO exercises with me in his jumper most of the time if I don't get it in before he wakes up.  The shred is only about 25 minutes with stretching so its not all that long.  Your LO will probably enjoy watching you. 

    If you work - I would try to squeeze it in in the morning or right after work.  Can your DH watch him at all so you can squeeze it in?  I find if I wait until the end of the day - it is so easy to say "ah.. I can do it tomorrow".

    You have to fully commit yourself to working out - whether it be the shred or not.  You can do it if you really want it!

    I work & I have a hard enough time waking my SO up when I have to leave for work. (He stays home with LO since he is laid off) Not sure I can get him out of bed just for me to work out. I will figure something out..I have to! I feel horrible about myself lately which makes for a very crabby me.

    For your measurments do you where a bra? Sorry if thats a stupid question..just not sure.

    No - on measurement days I do everything naked (weigh/measure).  Haha.  That sounds weird.  I want the most accurate measurement though.
