Lurkers...oust yourself.
Time to reintroduce ourselves. We have lots of new people, and I would love to draw the lurkers in here too. It is DEAD here in the evenings. You do NOT need to have a baby to post here. Come on in. The beer/wine/cocktail is cold!
Introduce yourself. I am not posting a template. Say whatever you think is pertinent. Welcome and keep on posting!
Re: Let's all say hello and be friends...

mmmmm, cherry bread....sounds delish, I will have to try it.

I'm Sarah- 30 (31 on march 2) and I have an 8 month old DD and a little boy on the way due July 17. I won't make it most likely as I had preterm labor with Cerys and also gave birth exactly at 37 weeks.
Been married to Joel since 6/27/2008. He's from England and I am from Louisville. We have two cats- Miller and Tanqueray. I miss gin and tonics!!!
I dated a proctoid for two years that lived in hyde park but that was a few years back. I spent a lot of time in Cincy then. DH's company got bought out and we moved here for his job. Right now we are in an apt until our house sells (hopefully soon!) and then we are looking in the West Chester area.
I have worked in commercial insurance and I also worked for an alcohol/drug rehab facility. Right now I am SAHM. I have a few friends here from college (sorority sisters) but none have kids. I am hoping to get some prereqs done and go back to school in a few years to do an accelerated BSN and go into nursing.
I'm on.. a lot. Bored during the days- when I am not playing with DD or cleaning house.
I'm Megan as well. I'm 31 young years! I'm currently 33 weeks & 5 days pregnant with my first (what we call our miracle baby) a little boy that will be named Nolan Mitchell. He is due on April 3. My SO is named Kevin he turns 34 on the 25th. He is an attorney & I am a director of a non-profit spay/neuter clinic & shelter (it is the BEST job/career!!) I'm sad to take my maternity leave I love it so much!!
We consider Nolan our amazing blessing due to the fact I was scheduled to have my uterus taken out in October 2010 ( I have major issues with female "things") I was given a .00000001% chance of ever being able to conceive. Many reasons additionally contributed to my reasons of why, I was not supposed to get pregnant.
Needless to say it was a SHOCK to find out in July 2010 that I was expecting. I've also had a rocky road in the beginning of pregnancy around week 7, I started heavy bleeding/cramping, was hospitalized 3 times & put on bed rest until week 13. I was given a 50/50 chance on the pregnancy surviving. His heart rate continually measured way behind also until week 13 & then everything changed. Everything is perfect with him at the moment (as far as I know) His heart rate has resolved itself & he continues to measure right no track. We consider him a amazing gift/blessing. We are also very lucky in that my mother is retiring to take care of Nolan when I return to work sadly probably part-time so that I don't miss too much time with my baby.
We are also the "pet parents" to four dogs & two cats. 2 boxers & 2 pugs (that we are currently trying to find homes for-hoping they are not foster failures) 3 of the dogs & the cats are all rescues.
We moved back to a house that I own ( had been renting it out previously while we lived our "fun" life in a loft apartment in downtown Cincinnati) in NKY (Bellevue area) in January & have been in MAJOR home renovations since then to get ready for Nolan's arrival.
I'm hoping that after Nolan's arrival I will be able to contribute more on the board as right now I feel that I'm no help in offering any kind of advice. I thank this board everyday for my outlet & the ability to receive so many answers to questions I wouldn't know where else to get answers to.
Sorry...didn't realize this was so long!!
I'm Lisa and my DH is Steve. We were married on 10/21/06 and have 1 DS, Nathaniel, who will be 3 in April. We have 2 fur kids also who pretty much drive me insane most days.
I'm more of a lurker than a poster since I don't have much time during the day at work to get on the board. Welcome to all the new folks and hi to all of those that have been around awhile!

Hi!! I'm Courtney, 28 years old. I've been married to Gary for almost 4 years, together for 12 years. We are both from NKY, currently live in Independence. We have a beautiful 10 month old daughter named Abigail (Abby) Rose. I am a hard-core lurker. I used to post under a different SN many moons ago. I'm a RN at The Christ Hospital in the Open Heart Recovery ICU, but looking for something else. I would love to be more involved with the board, but my work schedule is super crazy and I feel like I have no time for anything!!!
Abby was born at 37wks 1day on April 10, 2010 at 4:50pm via c-section weighing 5lbs 7.2 oz and 18.5 inches long.
My name is Ann Marie. DH and I were married on 08/02/08. We have no children but are working on it. We are both 40 years old. So TTC is difficult at best.
I am a RN. DH is an Attorney. Hopefully we will bring our baby home soon as we are working on Adoption (Whoa is it a lot of work and very detailed)...
I lurk a lot. Starting to post more often.
I'm Meredith, married to Doug since May 2008. We live in Lebanon where Doug grew up. I coordinate Sunday school for a chuch in Cincinnati, and Doug is a Time Warner Cable technician.
We have one 3 year old cockapoo, Murphy. I unexpectedly delivered our DD, Lilith, by c-section, 14 weeks early on February 2. She's currently in the NICU at Miami Valley Hospital, and working hard to get off of her ventilator.
We are also certified foster parents, but have delayed taking foster children into our home until our is at least a year old.
I'm Kristin (32) and I have been married to my husband Dan (36) for 4.5 years. We live on the east side. I am a SAHM to our precious baby boy Jackson who is 6.5 months old. Dan works for a large retirement financial corporation in NKY. I went to Miami and studied special ed and did teach for 2 years in the Mason district several years ago, I have also been a nanny, administrative assistant, and a textiles buyer before becoming a SAHM. Dan went to UK so we are big Wildcat fans. We love to travel, although that has slowed down some since Jackson arrived. We have a Maine *** cat named Jesse who is around 7 years old.
Hello! My name is Jene. I'm a sociologist, working as a data manager for a non-profit organization. I married Charlie the Engineer in 2005. He started his own business in February, 2009 after he got laid off. We have one child, also named Charlie, who is 2 1/2. We also have a cat, again, named Charlie. We changed his name to Charlie Darwin and just call him Darwin to minimize confusion. I am the only sentinent being in our house not named Charlie.
I like numbers, reading, yoga, baking (but not cooking), blogging, Final Fantasy, and playing with my camera. I also like The Office, the X-Files, and Kevin Smith. And the Daily Show. And Idiot Abroad. And Star Wars. I'm currently training to run the Flying Pig in May, even though I've never run a race in my life.
ETA: We live in Milford, but would really like to move to Mt. Lookout this summer. Or move back East.

I'm Jess. I'll be the big 3-0 in July!
I just moved back to Cincinnati last summer after living in Seattle for almost 8 years. I moved there in 2002 to be with my then boyfriend, and we were married in 2008. Finley was born last February and just celebrated his first birthday.
I used to be an accountant, but now am lucky enough to be a SAHM! I live in the Mason area, and love meeting the ladies on this board IRL since most of my friends in Cincinnati don't have kids yet.
Welcome to the world Finley Michael - born 2/13/2010

Hello! I'm Amber and DH is Eric. I'm 31, and DH is 34. We were married on 6/17/06 after 4 years of dating, and we'll celebrate our 5th anny this June. We live in Dayton, although our house is currently for sale, and we are looking to move to a new home in Centerville.
I am a high school French teacher, and DH is an injury rep for a major car insurance company. We have 3 furbabies: Murphy is our 5 yr. old Goldendoodle, then we have 2 ginormously fat cats named Reece and Milo.
We were blessed with our daughter, Madelyn Grace, on March 31, 2008 at 36 wks. due to HELLP syndrome. Can't believe I'm planning her 3rd bday party! I am currently 33 wks. pregnant with baby girl #2 - EDD April 7. Soooo, our kiddos may have the same bday.. hope not! I am praying I go full-term this time, and that no complications arise.
I enjoy pilates, yoga, playing soccer (have played since I was 5 yrs. old), journaling, taking hikes outdoors and organizing family photo albums. I love this board!
I'm Maggie and have been married to Ryan for 2.5 years. We moved to Cincinnati right after we got married because I thought was going to attend law school, but then changed my mind because my heart wasn't there - but my heart definitely wasn't set for living in Washington D.C. anymore.
We had our daughter, Lila last August.
I'm a research librarian for a financial/insurance company and I also love living in Oakley (very similar to the Maggie who posted above ).
I mostly lurk around here and will post when I freak out about my breastmilk supply! Actually, I have something that I'll post about later today if I get some work done.
I'm Katie and I'm almost (in a week) 32. My DH and I have been married since June 2007. We have a 2 year old daughter and 3 dogs. I live a few hours east of Cincinnati in DH's hometown but I am originally from Cincinnati (West Side). I do marketing for a company that owns 18 restaurants (2 national chains and a regional chain).
I wish I lived closer. There are some really great, helpful ladies on this board. I also wish TB didn't suck and it was easier to post from my phone and iPad. I rarely use my laptop anymore and it is a pain to post from my phone.
Hi! I am Erin and my DH is Dan. We have been married since 5/9/08 and our DD Allison is 3 1/2 months old. We live on the westside of Cincy, but are planning to move to northern KY by the end of the year. I work part time as an RN at Good Sam and DH works in commercial refrigeration. We also have two puppies Maggie (golden) and Kenzie (beagle).
Late to the party as usual lol.... I'm Kajsa and am married to Will since 4/22/06. We have a daughter, Daisy, who will be two in June. Our son, Emmett, is 4 months old. I will be 29 in march. I'm a stay at home mom and help DH with the farm as much as I can. We live on a farm about 15 minutes north of Oxford, Ohio. Although, I am originally from California.
We live so far out of town that we can't get high speed internet. Since we only have dial up, I am not on here very often. I try to participate when I can get on though.
Loving these re-introductions!
My name is Erin and we live in Dayton. I'm 27 and DH is 29, and we had our DD, Leah, in May of 2008, 11 months after our wedding!.We both teach high school (I'm English, he's physics) and we both work FT. We have a mini dachshund named Lindsey. We are both originally from out-of-state-- me from Wisconsin, and DH from Indiana-- but we love the area after going to college here and plan to stay forever! We are hoping to add another little one to our family in...maybe 2013. I'm trying to plan ahead .
DH and I have been married for 5 years (in April). I'm 28, he's 30, I'm a SAHM and he's in sales. We have three girls. Ava is our prissy 3.5 year old. Charlotte is our spunky 1.5 year old. Lila is our littlest family member who joined us just 4 weeks ago, and (so far) she seems to be our laid back child. I enjoy cooking, reading, running/hiking outside with DH, decorating and party planning... and I need more time for all of the above.

Married 6/7/8, Zac was born on 2/13/10 and I have the worst case of baby fever.
Howdy!
I have two sweet little girls - a 3.5 year old and a 6 month old. My Husband is currently looking for work in an electro-mechanical engineering position. We decided for him to return to school almost 4 years ago after losing his job and our dreams will hopefully come to fruition soon. I work in Finance in Higher Ed and occasionally teach evening courses. Someday (soon!) I hope to drop the day job and teach at night only. I love doing anything outdoors, especially biking and hiking. I love music - playing and listening. I'm also obsessed with decorating blogs now that we have a new space to finish. A few years ago while holding a 6 month baby on my lap (my first daughter) we sketched out a home addition plan on a napkin. My DH got this crazy notion that he could build a 700 sq. foot addition for us - all by himself only working on the weekends. Amazing but true...he did it and we're in the finishing stages of wrapping everything up. We've lived in dust and chaos the last three years and I think my DH will need a loooonnnggg vacation after this, but it was worth it!
I was married on 6/7/8 too! What a great date
