I'd like a puppy update. Is it another Vizsla? When is it coming? And when can we see pics??

My next-door neighbors have one of those dogs. He is the coolest, most well-behaved dog ever. Kate loves him. His funniest trick? He's not allowed on the couch, so he sits on it with only his back legs and butt. His front paws are on the floor. So technically he's not "on the couch." Everytime I sit on their couch, he sits next to me. HILARIOUS.
Lol. Last night I told DH I might be done with traveling for work. And that way we could get the puppy sooner!! He laughed... but then fell asleep.
We talked about getting Puppy in April because that seemed like a good time. If I stop traveling for work, we could up that to March.
Haven't decided on what kind, other than I would like as young a puppy as possible - I want DH to actually experience puppydom. And puppy needs to come from SPCA, rescue, etc. I swore I'd never get another Vizsla, but then I think about not getting one and my heart gets a little sad... Maybe a Lab Vizsla mix.
I have such PUPPY FEVER! I can't wait. Also, there will be so many, many pictures. I might be kicked off BOTB until I can restrain myself.
Riley does this all the time. His best was one night when we were having a romantic dinner in. We kicked him off the couch, dimmed the lights, candles, everything. He slunk around to the end that we weren't on, and put one paw up onto the back of the couch. Waited. Then his other front paw. Waited. Then his chest was up on the back of the couch cushions. Waited. Then one back leg....
I think he thought he was being all cool and sly, but he's not always graceful... He was totally knocking cushions into us, but he wouldn't look at us. That bugger got up onto the back, slid into the cushions, and poked his nose out right by us.
He;s such a whack job.

It took me a while to accept your friend request on FB b/c I wasn't sure who you were. I was like, "Who has a kid named Riley?" LOL
Hah! Yeah, Riley has his own FB account. I can only say that I was high on vicodan and bored and couch-bound when I did it.
No worries. I can never remember who's who on FB, and can't remember if I friended them or not...
Also, congrats on baby girl!! That's wonderful news!
