Do all innies turn into outies?

Is this true, that if your belly button is an innie, it'll "pop" out during pregnancy? I'm 20 1/2 weeks and mine is the same. Just wondering.

Mine is about half way there. The bottom half is starting to be pretty flat with the rest of my stomach.

same as pp have said...mine just got kind of funky, never popped. seems to be doing the same thing this time.

mine was never really deep but definitely an innie. It isn't as deep now at 23 weeks but I am barely showing. I have stretched out though. I think it is a possibility that it could pop out.

Mine did, it began as an innie and by 25-28 weeks it was flat, by ~32 weeks it was an outie.

Mine actually got really, really deep in the early stages of pregnancy with DD and by the end was back to its normal position, still definitely an innie and never even close to flat or out. Its following the same pattern so far this time around.

I jokingly told my DH that I was going to put a small marble in my belly button and tape over it to make sure it stayed in... I think he thought I was serious because he found a marble for me...hahahahaha Big Smile

I have a VERY deep innie (nearly 3 inches in!), and as of now, mine is about 1/4 of an inch from being completely out. I'm pretty sure it'll be out in the next few weeks. Up until about 2 weeks ago, I hadn't noticed ANY change in it at all, but recently it's been on a mission to get out.
