DD got the all-clear from her pedi (just tinge of a cold, and tugging on it from teething) and my parents met us for lunch.
Well, I have DD in the high chair, and we're eating and I hear the guy in the booth next to us taking a pic with his cell phone. I thought he was with someone until I turn around and see that he's taking a picture of DD!
I thought I was going to have a heart attack!! I demanded he delete the pics and than I asked the manager if they could make sure there were no other pics of DD saved.
The guy told me he was a "photographer and DD is so adorable that I just had to capture the moment."
WTF?! Now I don't ever want to bring DD anywhere. Ugh.

THat is creepy! I would have said something along the lines of "if you want to photograph my daughter you ask permission!!!" Probably with a few choice words in there too!
YUCK!
1. A real photographer wouldn't take pics with his cellphone. The photographers I know always have a real camera with them
2. even if he was a real photographer, he should have asked your permission.
3. Shady, creepy, gross. I hope the restaurant doesn't let him back in.
Super creepy.
Sorry that you had to deal with that.

This. What restaraunt were you at, do you mind me asking?!!
I took a course for a job I used to have working in a group home about working with sex offenders and I probably would have totally lost my effing mind if I were you (the seminar made me so paranoid. Incredibly so. I'm going to be the mom with the little boy at the beach with rash guards and swim shorts past his knees, legit.), good for you for keeping it together and protecting DD at the same time.
Shandie, DH Says you should look at the sex offender registry and see if you notice him, most listings have pictures, and then you can call the police if you do. Since you bruoght a manager into it to make sure that DD's pics were in fact deleted, it wouldn't be your word against his, and obviously your parents were with you as well.
