So...I had my baby boy! (my birth story)

Hi ladies!! Welcomed our little man into the world on 2/7/11...exactly 2 weeks before his due date. On Sunday the 6th, I had just gone to bed after the Super Bowl, and my water broke. We went to the hospital, and they confirmed that my water had indeed broken, and they decided to monitor me all night. At 7:30 the next morning, my Dr came and checked me, and I was 1 1/2 cm...60%. I was in labor all day...had my boy at 7:29pm.(pushed for 2 hours) He weighed 6lbs12oz. He is the most amazing gift I have ever received, and I could not be happier. I have been recovering pretty well. I had an episiotomy (2nd degree) which hurt pretty badly the first week after birth. This week, it is so much better. We are adjusting pretty well with no sleep! I never knew how much one little person could go thru diapers!! I am breastfeeding, and he is nursing about every 2-3 hours. Good luck to all of you who are waiting on your little ones!!
