This is my 2nd pregnancy, and so far I am not having many symptoms (I'm tired and have some minor nausea). When I was pregnant with DD, I was so sick, and had every symptom possible. I guess it makes me feel a little worried that something is wrong this time around.
For those of you that have been pregnant more than once, were your symptoms different with each pregnancy? Maybe it just means I'm having a boy??
Re: For 2nd (more) time mommies....has symptoms been different?
Yes and no.
My boobs hurt like hell both times.
This time I'm WAY more exhausted than last time.
I haven't had nearly as much morning sickness with this one (like, hardly any)
DD #2 2 years old (08/17/11)
DD #3 born 08/29/13
Symptoms are definitely different so far. This is my 3rd pregnancy (second baby). With my first (my son), I had relatively mild symptoms except for SUPER sore boobs. My nausea was mild, my exhaustion was mild.
Second pregnancy (which I lost at 10wks) had no sore boobs but TERRIBLE nausea. TERRIBLE. And TERRIBLE exhaustion.
This pregnancy (6w3d) has been pretty mild again, which I am thankful for because it reminds me of my first. Sore boobs, definitely exhausted, no real nausea yet. Some insomnia with this pregnancy too, which is a new symptom this time!
I wouldn't worry that anything is wrong! For the record though, my 'mothers intuition' says I'm having a boy (it did with my son, too) so maybe you are having a boy!
With DD I had very minimal m/s and painful gas and that was it.. I barely knew I was pregnant till second tri.
This time I've had horrible nausea from 6 weeks its starting to settle and the gas just KILLS me feels like somethings twisting my intestines.. I've been sooooo tired too (which may be due to working and DD not just pregnancy) I've also had more aversions to scents (Like DH's cologne) this time around.
ETA:Oh yeah my nipples are super sensitive this time and sore..That didnt happen last time..

I've been equally tired with both pregnancies - we're talking in bed at 8:30pm, sleeping through to 7am. Occassional nights of insomnia but for the most part I can sleep well.
First pregnancy, I had to eat all the time to ward off feeling nauseous, and I don't feel that as much this time around - I think sometimes I'm too busy with my toddler to realize I'm hungry, then I sit down and eat and feel fine.
Much more bloated this time.
This is my 3rd pregnancy (my 2nd "take home" baby) With my first pregnancy I was a bit tired, had quite a bit of nausea and bad food aversions. With my second pregnancy, I was carrying twins, I had pretty much ALL of the symptoms in the book - horrible nausea, exhaustion, very sore boobs, etc. etc. etc.
This time around - my symptoms are so mild! It almost concerns me, although I am sure it's nothing to worry about. I get a little bit of nausea from time to time, I'm very tired and bloated. Boobs are sorta tender. That's about it!
Thanks for all the replies! I don't have any reason to think anything is wrong..no spotting or bad cramping. I think it's just the lack of symptoms, although I know it is still early.
My bbs started to get a little tender today (which oddly enough made me happy), and I am exhausted. By 8pm I am ready for bed, and sometimes I have a nap in the afternoon too.
I don't necessarily think I am having a boy, was just a random comment or more of a gut feeling. Last pregnancy I never had any feeling of what the gender was (I never found out until day of delivery). I'll just feel better after having the first U/S an seeing the heartbeat. Sometimes I wonder if there is anything in there...(I took 5 HPT's so I KNOW I'm pregnant)!
With my first I slept a lot of the first trimester and so long as I at regularly I had no m/s.
With this one, my boobs got huge really fast but then I had no other symptoms until week 7 when m/s kicked in and even a bit of food sends my tummy spinning. I'm also exhausted but I can't seem to sleep.
It's still early so enjoy this time w/no symptoms!
