just curious..LO sometimes eats a full 4 oz. and looks like she wants more... she's not 3 wks yet though I'm not sure..Also once you warm up a bottle, how quickly do u use it. Is it ok to let it set for 15-30 minutes?
S eats 3-4 oz's and I use Soothie bottles which go up to "5" oz's but you can fill it up an extra oz so I'll be using them for a while probably. Also when I heat up a bottle it says that it's only good for an hour after they've drank from it, but I go by the 2 hour rule. If it's been out for more than 2 hours I chuck it.

Our 8 week old is taking in about 4-6 ounces at a time. Our bottles go up to 5 ounces but you can fit six into them as well, just can't mix it in the bottle. Also, I don't heat up the bottles..we just go with room temp.

this. 15-20 is fine to wait. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, DS will fall back asleep when I'm making the bottle. I leave it next to me and go back to sleep for an hour. If he doesn't wake in that hour, I put it in the fridge. Once he drinks out of the bottle, he has an hour to drink. After that it gets dumped.
DD is taking 4oz regularly right now, although sometimes 5. We have the 4oz Dr. Brown bottles, and I think I may need to buy bigger sizes soon. They're leaking because after putting the formula in the 4oz of water it goes over that line, and then the bottles leak.

That seems like a lot for one feeding. My daughter just turned 4 months and our pediatrician said 4-5 oz. is now an appropriate amount.

We stopped using them about 8 weeks, went to Target and raided the baby clearance for 8 and 10 oz bottles so we can use them for a while now, especially how much my little one is growing!
According to Dr. Sears 4-6oz is normal for 2-6 month olds.
That is all well and good, but OP's baby is only a few weeks old.
