Success after IF

mommies of 12 week or older babies I have a question for you.....

When your baby was going through their big growth spurt around 12 weeks did they seem like they were in pain?

Fenton has started going through his 12 week growth spurt and as expected he is constantly hungry and super fussy during the day, last night though he seemed like he was in pain.  I felt so bad for the little guy and wasn't sure if I should give him infants tylenol or not, I ultimately decided against giving him anything and just sat with him til he felt better.

Anyone else notice pain in their babies when they went through this?

  • I've never noticed pain with growth spurts. What were his signs of pain? Maybe we can help knowing those??

  • Reed is three months and 2 weeks old today.  He never seems to be in pain, only uncomfortable if he has gas and needs to burp.  Sorry I can't be of some help, but I would definitely call your doctor if he seems to be in pain and it isn't going away.

  • DS is one, so we have been through several growth spurts and he has never been in pain. He just doesn't sleep well, eats more and appears to be more wide awake! I would watch him.....it could be something else.

Is he having gas issues or maybe he has a tummy ache???

  • We had some fussiness but no real pain (that I could not associate with reflux)
