Tragic! You know you're pregnant when... & big baby...

... you are getting ready for work and you think you can fit into a pair of pants that logic says is not a good idea. So I made it about five minutes in my pants walking around stretching them out, and then right in front of DH, the button goes flying off. So I guess that's the sign I've been waiting for. At least I laughed instead of crying like I do about everything else.

On a better note, our 16 wk ultrasound went great. They found all the organs and the baby is growing well... perhaps TOO WELL as he or she is in the 80th percentile already and is "measuring large" as we were told. My husband is 6'4" and was a 9 pound baby. While I would love for LO to take after him, I do not mean in size!

Maybe the baby grew quick in teh beginning and will slow down a bit for you.

I feel your pain on the pants, but I haven't lost any buttons yet. I just get super pains at work when I'm determined to wear a pair that is really too small already.

That is too funny about the button! May I ask how tall you are? My hubby is 6'5 and I'm right at 6'...so I am SUPER worried about having a big baby! lol My apt. is next week--hoping I get another u/s!
