  Yeah - it is my own fault for not paying close enough attention to my paystubs.  I made about 25% less income, but paid in about 33% of what I paid in last year.  I took deferred bonuses as income while on maternity leave, so they were taxed at my regular rate, rather than at the bonus rate.  I use a CPA, so I am afraid it is accurate, but I am still super sad about it

  Since I started my job so late in the year, I didn't make enough money to pay fed taxes, so I get NOTHING back. I can't get anything for two new babies or the child tax credit. Gotta bargain with the ex to see if he will claim them and give me a chunk of the money.

  I was so upset. I really needed that money!
