We had our NT scan this morning. The doc said everything looks good, and they're just waiting for the blood work results to come back and confirm it. Very relieved. We have some family history that had us on edge. We definitely wanted any surprises now rather than later.
I have to say we have the calmest baby ever. From what you've all said about a bouncing baby, I'm pretty sure that ours is a lazy bum just like its mom already. I went in with a full bladder, and it snoozed. They had me empty and it snoozed. I coughed and laughed, the baby would bounce a little and then snooze back in its ball. Heartbeat was 154, and they said all was well. Just a sleepy baby I guess. Hopefully it's a good omen for the future.

I only had to drink 2 glasses of water an hour before the appointment. It wasn't bad until she started pushing to get the ultrasound pictures. She noticed I was uncomfortable and let me empty. It wasn't too bad.
Glad it went well!
My baby was pretty sleep too. HB was 157 and little bugger was just hanging out wiggling arms/legs a little bit.
What a beautiful little one you have there!
We thought the same thing about our sleepy baby... until a student came in to take some NT tries and, within a minute, baby was awake, with hiccups, squirmy, and eventually turned his/her entire back on us. Like; peace out, I gave you what you wanted the first time, and went back to sleep.
My baby snoozed all through my NT scan too. We got a couple little bounces, but then - right back to snoozing. I called my baby a lazy bugger
