Am I crazy? We're looking to take a 4-5 night cruise to either the Bahamas or western Caribbean anytime from March until the first week in May. This will be our 4th cruise, so I know what it's like and can guess how I will feel.
We're going on a cruise in a couple of weeks and I cannot wait! We've had it planned for a while, but it seems like perfect timing. Carnival has a form for your doctor to fill out and you're not supposed to cruise after your 25th week of pregnancy. I'm not sure if that would pertain to you since I don't know how far along you are.
Have fun!
ETA: Just looked at your ticker, nevermind, you'd be before 25 weeks

I don't think so. I personally would prefer to do a cruise when I can have a few drinks but if that doesn't bother you than go for it! Just make sure you would complete the cruise before 24 weeks - that seems to be the cut-off for pregnancy on most cruiselines.
Yep, our last day to sail would be May 11th. I wish airfare wasn't so freakin expensive... dang spring break! My TA Is working on it so I hope it works out since we love cruising. I think I can definitely handle not drinking and will eat myself drunk instead
I would say that if you have never been on a cruise then you might be a little crazy....but since you know what to expect, I think you are fine. Like the pp said, you may want to check with the cruise line and make sure they don't have any restrictions. I too am considering it sometime during my April break.

Virgin pina coladas?
I'm pretty sure that's what I'll be indulging on. And daquiri's... yum.

Sounds awesome! We were debating between a cruise and St. Lucia (for our honeymoon - we got married in January and haven't gotten away yet). Best thing about the cruise versus a resort - you'll get plenty of exercise on that ship and I'll be sitting on my butt all week!

We went on a cruise for our honeymoon - LOVED it! I would go on another in a heartbeat. And heck, you will save a ton of money not drinking those over prices but seriously tasty drinks!

We considered a cruise and ultimately decided against it because I'm already prone to motion sickness and it has been worse during pregnancy. I've never been on a cruise before, so was worried I would be stuck on a boat and sick for days.
If you know that you're okay with it, I would definitely do it. I think it sounds like fun!

I'd worry about motion sickness. Even if you've been on cruises before, it might be different. But it sounds fabulous! I was invited to a cruise wedding, but had to turn it down b/c I'll be 6 months : (

H and I talked about it for his spring break, but I decided I'd rather go when I can enjoy the hot tub, do some of the "attractions" on the ship (i.e. the surf simulator thing), so we're probably going to just rent a beach house I'm from Tampa, and my parents have offered to keep DS while we go away for a few days

Ugh, I'm jealous! I love cruises! We went on a 14-day European cruise in September it was unbelievable.
This is one my bucket list, for sure.
We just went on the new Oasis of the Seas (you know, the largest ship in the world) and I would like to take that one to Europe, lol.
