Hello fellow bumpies!
I have been at it for months, but I love the names Chrisette..I've heard all of the jokes that it sounds like Cassette, but strangely I still love it. But I can't fully commit to it because I can't find a middle name that sounds right it. My husband's name is Nicholas Christopher, so we really liked the idea to use a girl name that mimicked his with Chrisette as the first name and a middle name beginning with N.
Any ideas? My brain is fried!!
Thanks for any help in advance!!! (:

This 1000x's over.
The first name is NMS at all. Christine/Christina would be MUCH better.

It sounds a) made up (which it is), b) sort of WT, and c) like the name for a new Nabisco brand of cracker.

It's a fine name, NMS but I wouldn't think twice about a little Chrisette. A little different, but it is derived from Christopher and there is an R&B singer with the name, so it won't/shouldn't completely throw people.
And I'm a little surprised at the reactions given how much people around here love Charlotte.
The one concern I would have is that a Chrisette is very likely going to end up with the nn Chris - so you'll have two Chrises around.
For a middle name - I think that if you are giving the baby DH's first name it might be nice to go with one of your names for the middle -
Chrisette Monet flows pretty well. Your middle or maiden name might be nice as well.
I agree! Chrisette is bad.
Cosette?! Yuck!
Chrisette isn't that bad but maybe b/c I have the singer Chrisette Michelle in mind.
God bless you! Like I said, love the name..if you don't have something positive to add, PLEASE pass my post over! I'd graciously do the same for you...I've never been fond of the name Jill or Jilly either...but I wouldn't attack your mother's post on a message board for choosing that for you...
As a female with a variation of the name "Chris", I actually had era nightmare about this name last night after seeing this. ugh.
There are other real name options to honor Christopher.
Chris, Christy, Christina, Christine
But if you want something suitable to pair with this you have to go with Jaden or some other equally horrid name. Or give her something beautiful and simple like Kate that she WILL want to be called.
Not being mean, just honest.
