we need something huge, rectangular (or square) and with sturdy construction... what are you guys using to keep your crawlers safe?
(DS isn't crawling yet... we're trying to stay ahead of him, and we need to order it, so it will take a while to get here)
edit: we have hardwood floors... if that matters

We got this for our floor. LO loves it. When he goes on hands and knees he can really get a grip of the floor and push off. He goes backwards now not forward. I dont plan on putting up anything to contain him, only a gate by the stairs. We are buying safety locks for the cabinets and outlets.
Does the foam flooring keep the play yard from moving across your floor?? I've read tons of reviews stating that 8-11 month olds push their play yards across the floor and tip it up on to it's side or crawl over it, so I'm nervous about the purchase.
Its on carpet but yes, it keeps it from moving. He does rip up the pieces and letters/numbers at times though
Ahhh! I have something just like this from babiesrus! And it was like 25 bucks when I got it.
