I thought I saw someone on here say that if you register at BRU, they give you a coupon you can use to come back and get a percentage off a purchase. Does anyone know on which items the coupon works?
H and I are planning to register soon, but we also really want to buy a reclining Dutailier glider and ottoman there. It's pretty pricey, so if BRU gives us a 20% off coupon or something that can be applied towards gliders, I'd be really happy.
(Sidenote: Anyone have a Dutailier glider? How long did it take to receive and how do you like the quality?)
Re: BRU registry/coupon question and Dutailier gliders
We just registered at BRU today. We had a coupon for a $10 gift card for starting a registry in-store. We took that coupon to the customer service desk once we were finished registering, and the cashier gave us (and everyone in front of us) a coupon booklet that contains two "20% off any one regular-priced baby item" coupons. In the fine print, there are a lot of excluded items/brands, but Dutailier isn't one of them. I would assume gliders are considered "baby items." The coupons are only good for a week though.
We ordered a Dutailier glider from JCP on sale a couple weeks ago and are still waiting. Baby Bargains recommends any glider from Dutailier. Hope this helps!
Did you custom order it? (Or does JCP even allow custom ordering on the gliders?) I checked online and it looks like you can only order the model we're looking at in 3 different colors. We were wanting to get the one with the locking mechanism and the nursing ramp attached to the ottoman, in a custom fabric. If you can customize them, I'm definitely going to price check against BRU!
Oh, I'm not sure if they customize. We just ordered a standard one, no ottoman. I think it was just called "Dutailier Sleigh Glider" in dark brown microfiber. It was on sale, then we found an online coupon, so we couldn't pass it up. I just registered for a wooden nursing footstool since we'll be lucky to have room for the glider itself!
