After reading all these birth stories and pictures of beautiful babies, I am so jealous of all you ladies and your outside babies!!  I am starting to get anxious and I cant wait to have my own outside baby!

Re: jealous!!

  • Me too! I am very excited about all the LOs being born lately and am congratulating all of you!

My arms, however, are aching for my little guy who apparently likes it a tad bit too much inside mommy's belly. I know I could head to the hospital at any time and they'd admit me (6cm dilated) so that's a huge temptation. But I am just trying to be patient and let things take their natural course...

I don't know that I would have your conviction! I really admire you for allowing your LO to come in their own time.

In other news, I am also super, super jealous! Of course, despite my jealousy, I still love looking at all the adorable faces, reading birth stories, and fantasizing about what my labor/LO will be like. Sometimes seeing all of the births can be frustrating, but seeing lovely babies always makes me happy to be alive. I just keep reminding myself "He has to come out sometime, its not like he can go to college in there!"

Lol, that made me laugh. You are right, it can't be too much longer. And besides, my OB refuses to let me go past 42 weeks anyway, which will be on Wednesday. I suppose I could argue with her but I just don't know if it would be worth it.

Although I am, admittedly, a big fat whiner who happily won't be allowed to go past 41 weeks, I am also a baby who cooked for 43w6d before showing my face (and no, there is NO possible confusion about the dates because my dad was only home from business for two days that month), so its totally possible. On the flipside, I did require my mom to have reconstructive surgery after my 10lb vaginal birth, and she sure was in labor for like 50+ hours. So, maybe you are right in not arguing, I wouldn't wish that on anyone (though understandably my mom wishes it a teensy bit on me, but of course not really).

  • LOL, so true... he's got to come out before college!

I love seeing all the adorable babies and am excited to have finally hit my due date!!  though I'd rather let Baby come when he/she is ready my Dr said he has never gone past 41 weeks in private practice so he set and eviction date of Thursday!!  I am really hoping Baby will decide to make and appearance by then but if not I guess only 5 more days to go until I join those with outside babies! and hopefully you girls won't be far behind :)
