What is This "Netflix" thing?

I don't get it. 

When I was a kid, Netflix delivered to your mailbox.  Please explain.  I feel old.

    We get Netflix on Dhs playstation but we can go online and order what movies we want to see and they send them to us as they come available. They still come to our mailbox but you can watch them different ways now.

    She might be one of our youngs one! In 1997, I was 15 years old so still really a kid!

    Yep, our TV is internet enabled through WIFI so we can download movies from the TV remote.  :)

    She might be one of our youngs one! In 1997, I was 15 years old so still really a kid!

    LOL I was 13.  

    We have netflix, we have a desktop hooked up to our TV in the living room and we watch that way, if we didn't we could get a disc from them to watch it through the wii, we also have a wifi bluray that we can watch netflix in the bedroom. They have a variety of "Watch instant" movies that you can stream any of those ways, through a phone iPad, laptop etc.  We also get one DVD at a time in the mail.

    I can feel my wrinkles getting deeper and deeper reading people's ages in 1997 (and then having to think really hard and do the math to calculate out their ages today! HA!).

    GOOD LORD!!!! I thought I was a young mom....ummmm, nope! LOL Although I love that my husband refers to me as 26 constantly - he's a good man!

    I maybe a few weeks shy of 29 but man sometimes I feel like I am 80! So freaking tired all the time!

    Let's just say I was out of college in 1997.

    And we stream Netflix onto our Wii. But we also get DVDs delivered.
