DD loves to have her little teddy bear or rubber ducky in the evening, but i never let her have anything her crib - wondering when it seems ok for them to start having something (of course that has no pieces that could come off)
My girls have a few small friends. I heard somewhere that they shouldn't have anything bigger than their heads, or with pieces that could be picked off. Sometimes, they'll wake up in the a.m. and I can hear them talking to their friends, but when I peek in, they've gone back to sleep

The seahorse is in the crib. DS has figured out how to turn it on so he likes to play with it when he is going to sleep.
I am not encouraging blankets/stuffed animals in the crib mainly because daycare can't have them in there. I don't want him to have issues sleeping without a certain toy.
This. I just started putting it in there last week she loves having it in there. If I let her fuss for a few minutes in the morning before I go in to get her she will have it turned on by the time I go in, it's so cute.
Heh. Khari has her Seahorse 4 cabbagepatch cuties and she HAD a few other stuffed animals, but she's starting to flip all over at night so I took them out. I keep 3 cuties at the top and the seahorse off to the side. She actually sleeps with her arm around whatever cutie she has and takes it with her during her midnight gymnastics! She has yet to actually move to the top of the crib though.. She alwasy flips herself to the bottom.
Marissa has the seahorse, which I could probably take out now since we haven't used it since we've started putting her lovie in with her. It's one of those teddy bear heads with a tiny blanket attached. She loves it and her face lights up when she sees it. She'll stick her thumb in her mouth, grab her teddy and she's out!
Yes, she has 2 stuffed animals. She buries her face in them as part of her "falling asleep" process, and then I go in and move them away from her after she falls asleep.
Re: do you let LO have a teddy or any type of toy in crib?
