I have decided that I am cutting myself off of fluids after 7pm every night now. I got up a whopping 5 times last night to pee, and the pain in my hips is so excruciating I dread even the thought of getting out of bed. One time I literally fell back into bed because it hurt so bad.
Has anyone tried this method of not waking up every hour to pee? I know it worked with my siblings when they were little, I'm assuming it works for big people, too.
Re: What, am I 5 years old again?
I tried cutting myself off from fluids to reduce the nightly bathroom trips, but I ended up with major headaches and I felt (more) awful the next morning. This went on for about a week before I resigned myself to my fate. Now, not only do I get up about 3-4 times a night, I also keep a cup by the bathroom sink and drink some water before I go back to bed. This keeps me from feeling like there's no water left in my body when I wake up in the morning.
(This is along with the addition of a humidifer in the bedroom, by the way.) <Sigh>
