Charting - thermometer

I've decided to go off of hormonal BC and remove my IUD. I plan to start charting to avoid. The basal thermometer I used when charting to get pg with DD#1 would beep every 10 sec which first thing in the morning is annoying. Anyone have a thermometer recommendation that doesn't beep?

There may be a lite tickling feeling there but not an itch yet! Stick out tongue But you never know where the next 1 yr may take us. We're not opposed. In the meantime, I want to fully reclaim my body while I decide -- not pg, not bfing and off hormones

I had the CVS brand, it didnt beep, but did only last 2 months before I had to replace it. I havent gone back on any bc because I really liked charting and dont really want the hormones either. Good luck!

Mine just beeped when it was done. It was from Walmart and I liked it.

My one from CVS died after a few months ago. The Walgreen one that I use now takes forever to get a temp. I'd like to find one that works well myself.

I have the target brand one with a pink end.
I think it beeps at the end.
Never had a problem with it.

i have the BBT from rite aid, only used it about a month but i like it so far... beeps 4 times at the end.

I hate that all thermometers beep at some point. I have one that just beeps at the end.

But here's what someone needs to invent: a BBT thermometer that is back lit (so you don't have to turn a light on to read it when it's done--the memory function doesn't always work on mine) and that doesn't beep when it's done--it could vibrate when it's done or something. Someone please invent it because I hate hormonal birth control and want to chart to avoid after this one comes. And I'd love a non-beeping thermometer.

I bought one at walgreens that is pink. it only beeps when it is done and if you don't want to turn the light on to check it you can wait and hit the button later and the last temp that was on it pops up. I used that all the time when i was TTC i would set my alarm early and take my temp then go back to sleep. it worked great!

I think mines the cheapest one from CVS. It's not backlit nor does it keep the last temp, but it's lasted over a year so not bad for a cheapie. It beeps once when it's done.
