Headaches with Lupron Depot? and other Qs?
I had my 1st Lurpon Dept shot almost 2 weeks ago and I have had a consistent headache for the past 8 days - it started 4 days after the shot and has gotten progressively worse.
My Dr. encouraged the Lupron since I don't tolerate BCP well and my endo pain was getting worse. I had been on it twice before with horrible headaches/migraines, not to mention I was an emotional mess and the lovely menopausal side effects later on in the doses. My Dr. convinced me to try it again without adding back any estrogen - he was convinced it was the estrogen that caused the issues.
Did you have headaches when you were on Lupron Depot?
Did you have success with Lupron treating endo? Is it even worth it?
The Dr. wants me to see a neurologist, but I don't want to treat side effects of a drug with more drugs... I don't know how I will make it and be able to be a mom to toddlers for the next 6 months with this headache..

I expected LD to be awful and didn't really have SE at all.
Are you taking Calcium and Vitamin D? I've noticed that Calcium seems to deal with a lot of estrogen related side effects. I took it am/pm and took Vitamin D (1000 iu 1x a day) at the advice of the RE.
