Acupuncture Success

Has anyone had success with acupuncture? Or known anyone who has?

I made my first appointment with an acupuncturist who specializes in infertility. Currently, I'm 11dpo and my temps have begun their decent to AF so I'm looking for alternatives to the drugs.

    Several girls from my local board rave about it. Something about a leafy green diet that goes along with it. Look foreword to hearing how it goes.

    I had my first appointment yesterday and it was amazing. The person I'm seeing specializes in fertility issues - speaking with her was like speaking with my RE - she completely understood what I was going through, which was comforting.

    I know it's entirely too early to tell the overall effects on fertility, but I can tell you this, my TTC-anxiety has subsided a great deal.

    During my treatment, I felt several surges of "energy" run through my body, across my chest and out my finger tips. At one point, near the 4 needles she had placed on my pelvis, I felt as if one of my tubes opened up (I didn't have a problem with this, but this was the sensation). When I got home, I looked in the mirror and I had a swash of what looked like a rash, going across my chest - right in the area where I felt the surge. It has gone away, but I have to wonder if it's a physical manifestation of the toxins in my body. I will be asking my practitioner about it.

    And that's the latest. I'm going for treatments every week. Stay tuned...
