Please rec. your humidifier

We are on our 3rd humidifier.  The first one we tried was a Safety 1st cool mist from Target.  It was ok, but dripped constantly, really loudly.  The second one was one of the Crane green frog ones.  It was a floor model and was super cheap, but apparently has issues (the red light comes on half way thu the night, when the tank is still full).  Not sure if it's worth trying a new one of these.  The 3rd one was one DH got at Buy Buy Baby (not sure the name) and was filter-less.  That one had a bright blue light that lit up the whole nursery at night.

Anyone have one that you love?

    We have a Holmes ultrasonic humidifier. Why I love it: no filter and it's SO quiet. I have zero complaints. This is our second. We had a Vicks one first and it was louder than loud.

    ETA: Also, we didn't pay $57 or whatever. I got ours at Menards on sale for $30.

    We have a Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier.  The first one we had (Graco) was TERRIBLE and leaked all over the floor.  We don't add any of the Vicks mist to it, but I think we can.  The only catch is that when we use it for prolonged periods (like I think we've been running it for more than a month now when he's sleeping), it can get a bit moldy and you have to clean it frequently.  Not sure if that's normal.

    we just have a larger Holmes one from Walmart or whatever for about $40, but I do notice the filter thing does not get as scuzzy if we put a tsp of the humidifier solution stuff in each refill. It's sold by the filters, and machines.

    which reminds me, I need to clean that darn thing. lol.
