So we all do things that are considered "wrong" by others...so post your confession here. No judgements please!
I'll start:
- Bennett nurses to sleep
- He's been sleeping on his changing pad in the crib - he likes the contour. We're working on getting out of this habit before he starts to roll.
- I have bumpers in the crib
- Managing two kids has been so hectic, that I usually have a beer or glass or wine while he's nursing to sleep a few nights per week

Re: Post Your Mommy Confession Here: "I know it's wrong, but..."
I put a blanket on Jake, and have been doing this since he was a month old. (October got cold and I can't sleep without one)...
mostly he just kicks it off anyway.
I know it's wrong but...
T sleeps on his belly.
Nurses to sleep.
Watches Baby Einstein everyday so mommy can eat breakfast.
I put a blanket over Ian at night (usually just over his legs though).
I usually nurse him to sleep at night.
ETA: I forgot one. We have a teddy bear in his crib, but it is no where near him and once he starts moving around more we will take it out. It is DH's teddy bear from when he was a baby that his grandfather gave him.
Pretty much this.... though when I lay him down he's either on his back or his side - but will roll to his tummy shortly after. Last night, after he woke up at 9, DH laid him down on his tummy.
If I'm changing his diaper in the middle of the night, I will usually skip the wipe (unless it's poop of course). But this is a rare occurrence these days. I do it because it makes the diaper change go a lot faster if I skip the wipe.
Sophie goes to sleep with a blankie, lovie, and seahorse in the crib/PNP. I know. Scandal.
I leave the room with her in her bouncy seat to pee and do things in other rooms that just a take a few minutes. Even with the cats in there.
I love that she loves her binky and have not the slightest bit of anxiety about "breaking her" of it.
I have microwaved the occasional bottle (we ff) in desperate times. For example, we just started using bottled water for her milk, and DH was "helping" me the other day. He could not get that bottle warm to save his life. I was about to be late and Soph was screaming. I shook the shiit out of that thing before we gave it to her, though.
I nurse Roman to sleep every. single. night.
If he's really fussy and I need a break really bad I put him in front of cartoons for a few minutes.
If his PJs are still clean he stays in them for a night, the entire next day and sometimes the next night as well. It's probably gross, but if he doesn't spit up, sweat or leak through his diaper I don't see a reason to change him 6 different times.
I nurse or rock him to sleep.
I'm secretly happy that he won't take a bottle because I'm the only one who can feed him.
His bouncy seat is always on my coffee table.
Sometimes I put his playmat near the tv so that if he's bored with the toys on there, he'll watch that and I can finish what I'm doing.
The girls watch the TV when we're watching it.
They nap in their boppies.
We let them cry sometimes because we're busy with the other one.
We don't change their diapers immediately after they've pooped because sometimes they'll poop again 10 minutes later and we don't want to waste the diapers.
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
W sleeps with a blanket tucked in around his waist and legs.
M still sleeps in her RnP next to the bed at night. I cover it in a couple big blankets so it's warmer and softer.
When napping in her crib she lays on her side with a blanket behind her and one over her. There is also a seahorse and teddy (by her feet) and there are bumpers.
Before we packed away her swing, we'd never buckle her into it. It reclined to a laying position so we never had too.
I nurse or rock her to sleep and don't see any problem with it. She won't be a baby for long!
Med-free birth, EBF, Co-Sleeping, Babywearer
Very curious about this - did you offer and she started to refuse?
-I nurse and rock Carter to sleep every night.
-I put him down asleep.
Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1).
Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
DD naps in her Boppy. On the couch. With a blanket.
LOL!
Brady sleeps with a blanket wrapped around his legs and his seahorse next to him.
my read shelf:
He naps with a blanket tucked around his waist and legs in the crib.
I leave him on his own while I make food, shower, etc. If he starts crying, I move faster, but I don't drop what I'm doing.
Not yet but I'm only nursing at night now and I could see that happening after a while. Hoping we eventually have a smooth transition like you!
I hold DS for any nap that I want to be longer than 45 minutes.
I got the awesome idea of putting the Bumbo on the counter while I'm doing the dishes from an episode of 16 and Pregnant. He does't try to escape yet, but a high chair is in my near future.
We have the TV on whenever we're home... it's usually just background noise, but it's usually on Disney channel when I'm alone.
The worst part is that in the morning he watches (attentively) Agent Oso/Handy Manny/Mickey Mouse clubhouse- whatever's on when I get my coffee ready!
I have been known to microwave the occasional bottle... I make sure it's not too warm and there are no noticeable hot spots.
Before I went back to work, I would put Hazel in her swing and prop a bottle up with a blanket. She would down the bottle and be sleeping within 5 minutes. I would get a 3 hour nap out of her every afternoon. It. was. EPIC!
Now that I am working, I don't really care that she only sleeps 30 mins at a time. It used to cause me stress. Now? Out of sight, out of mind.
LOL... My SIL doesn't use a wipe after every pee diaper with my niece either. My niece has super sensitive skin. SIL does the pat dry thing too.
DD bed shares with DH and I, sleeps on a pillow and a blanket, watches t.v., and naps on the couch occasionally.
This was totally Sophie's schedule before I went back to work. I almost and foolishly hoped she'd keep it. Like, let me wake her, feed her, dress her and get her in the carseat, and go back to sleep for several hours at day care, just so I would have more time with her at night. Alas, she goes to sleep a little earlier every night.
DS still sleeps in the PNP in the bassinet part, he is getting close to 15 lbs but he is not quite there yet. He sleeps with a stuff lamb, his seahorse and a blanket.
He takes all three of his naps during the day in his swing.
I nurse him to sleep at night and when the swing's batteries are dying I nurse him to sleep for his naps.
He co-sleeps with me the first part of night until my DH comes to bed then sleeps in his PNP, When I get up to nurse him in the morning he goes back and co-sleeps with my DH.
He loves TV and I know it doesn't really matter what he watches at this age so we watch a lot of E!
And finally i am super sad he won't take a paci.
I have bumpers in the crib.
DD often falls asleep with the Leap Frog dog "Violet" playing music or the seahorse in the crib (I remove the dog, but usually not the seahorse, as she doesn't try to snuggle with that - just stares at it).
DD is the queen of the "double whammy" diaper. So when I hear her poop, I give her 5 more minutes before changing, as she is likely to poop again.
There are lots of toys in DD's PnP. However, when in that she is checked on every few minutes.
DH puts DD in her swing and turns on cartoons for about 1.5-2 hours a day so he can get ready for work (before I get home).
Us too. Whether she sleeps during the day or not, I can always count on an uninterrupted night like this. She's been doing it sinc Dec (2 mos) and I like it.
