Is baptism at 1 year too late?

I was hoping to have DD baptized at 7-10 months but because of restrictions during Lent, family considerations (everyone out of town), dh looking at other job opportunities, possibly moving and listing our house for sale it is looking like we have push her baptism later and later - I am now thinking of combining it with her first birthday - my parents want to host so it would be July in FL - would it be awkward to combine the two events? It's a catholic baptism and ideally it would be before she turned 1 but it might be impossible to swing that

    I say as soon as you can do it the better.  It is never too late to baptize!

    I had DD baptized at 10 days old.  I wanted it done asap.

    It is never too late to get her baptized. My nephew wasn't baptized until he was 6 years old. Hayden was baptized at almost 3 months old.

    I'm not Catholic (Presbyterian), but my DDs still haven't been formally baptized yet.  My 95-year-old FIL is a minister and dedicated them when they were about 3 months old (essentially baptized them at home).  I've just been lazy about trying to schedule things because my mom wants to fly down for it and DH works 2 weekends a month so it makes things more complicated. 
    2004-Started TTC; Nov 2007-Lap with endo removed; Jan 2008-Ectopic (mtx); April 2008-IVF #1 (bfp, twin girls); March 2011-FET (cp); June 2012-IVF #2 (bfp, singleton, EDD 3-19-12)

    Not in my opinion. We are planning on doing it when my girls hit 11 months. Our pedi actually recommended that we wait until flu/rsv season is over anyways. And even though my girls were born in May and we had all summer to do it, I still felt like they were way too small to be surrounded by so many people/germs - so we decided from the start to wait until they are bigger - our pedi's advice just confirmed our decision.

    My in laws had a fit that we waited until DD was 4 months. MIL works for the Catholic Diocese and they were shocked we took her out of the house before she was baptized. We did it as soon as we could and felt comfortable with that. Just do what you believe is right for your beliefs and your family.
